The public has the opportunity to attend either of two meetings to review the final draft of the Downtown Waterfront Master Plan (DWMP). Both meetings will be held at the University of South Florida St. Petersburg (USFSP) Student Center and will include the same presentation material with an opportunity for feedback.

Learn more about the city's newest sustainability initiative, Universal Curbside Recycling, set to launch this summer, during a series of public information meetings over the next few weeks. The next series of meetings will be held March 31 at the Willis S. Johns center, 6635 Dr. M.L. King Jr. St. N. and on April 2 at Roberts Recreation Center, 1246 50th Ave. N. Meetings start at 6:30 p.m. The meetings will provide information on how residents can begin recycling glass, aluminum, steel and some plastics, rinsed and free of food particles, along with newspapers, magazines and mixed paper, in a 95-gallon blue cart twice-monthly at the curb. Viewers who watch StPeteTV, St. Petersburg’s city government channel on Bright House Networks will need to tune to channel 641 to access the latest news from City Hall. The channel switch that occurred in February only affects Bright House customers and will not affect regular programming on StPeteTV. There are no changes for customers of Verizon Fi0s Channel 20 or Wow! Channel 15.
